Soft neutrals, cool blues, and natural fibers are just a few of the hallmarks of coastal interiors that inspired this ladder shelf makeover.
We started by giving the shelf a fresh coat of paint in Uptown Ecru before sealing with our Finishing Wax in White. White Wax is a super easy way to highlight wood grain and carvings while creating a subtle white washed look. We wanted the piece to have a relaxed, slightly aged feel, which this finish helped accomplish.
After the refinishing was complete, an assortment of woven baskets, white ceramics, shells, and greenery completed the look.
